Rongsheng Factory Supply Corundum Bricks Suitable For Use in Ironmaking Blast Furnace Lining
Product Description of Rongsheng Factory Supply Corundum Bricks Suitable For Use in Ironmaking Blast Furnace Lining
Corundum bricks refer to refractory products with an alumina content greater than 90% and corundum as the primary crystal phase. They have very high compressive strength at room temperature (up to 340 MPa), a high initial softening temperature under load (above 1700°C), and excellent chemical stability, offering strong resistance to acidic or basic slags, metals, and molten glass.
In terms of current market applications, corundum bricks are widely used in the lower part of blast furnaces, as well as in the belly and bosh areas.
The raw materials for corundum bricks are composed of alumina and chromium oxide mixed in a specific ratio, forming a solid solution after high-temperature fusion. Using a special refractory production process to make these bricks improves their internal quality and enhances their high-temperature performance. Some high-performance corundum bricks developed and produced by Rongsheng Refractory have reached the physical and chemical performance indicators of similar foreign products. These bricks demonstrate excellent performance, meet the quality standards of foreign counterparts, and can replace imported refractory materials in applications.
